It has been a great summer of Athletics.
From the 2002 Birmingham Commonwealth Games to the World Athletics Champs this year in Budapest,, the very best of British athletic talent have been mixing it with the very best of World talent. And often that British talent is a World Talent.
If you have ben inspired by this global sport now is the perfect time to get started on your own journey of discovery.
We are currently building up our Rosters of athletes :
Ages 11 and above to adult : for new athletes who would love the chance to learn the skills of track and field and test themselves in suitable competition opportunities. See how far you can take your talent, discover talents you never knew you had.
And for youngsters aged 7 to 11: get a Fun Introduction to the magical mix of track and field events while getting fit through relays, games and physical challenges.
We are now ready to welcome potential new athletes to join our successful squad. We cater for all levels and all events. We love seeing novices grow in confidence and enthusiasm in all aspects of running, jumping and throwing, the building blocks of all sports and the fundamentals of our own.
For older athletes we want you to show off what you have learnt, how much you personally have improved and your love of sport. And one of the best ways to do that is to now and again measure yourself against the stopwatch and the tape measure in events with your friends and friendly rivals.
For the younger athlete, aged 7 to 11 years, we ill give you a chance to enjoy the fun and variety of the sport while getting fitter in a safe play based programme .
