Updated: Nov 12, 2019

Morgan Hanson clocked up a significant result in the Chiltern Cross-Country League as she took her first victory in the age groups at Teardrop Lake, Milton Keynes. Competing in the second of the five race series, Morgan could be very well satisfied with several key placings - first U20 in the Chiltern League Division 2 and seventh overall in the league on the day. She was also first Bucks U20 home and led home the WSEH AC team.

Her training partner and clubmate Katie Thompson was also playing her part in helping the WSEH team to a win on the day and a one point lead over Bracknell in the Series. Katie finish ed third in the U20 Division 2 race and third WSEH athlete.

This event was also combined with the Cross-Challenge race where Phoebe Anderson was making her season debut in the Herne Hill Harriers colours. She opened well in a quality field finishing fifth in the U20 Ladies Race.

Also in action were James Palmer, Annie Hilton and and Jerry Anderson competing in Division One for Chiltern Harriers.

James finished fifteenth in the U17 Mens race, fourth scoring member of the Chiltern Harriers team who now hold runners-up spot in the series.

Both Annie and Jerry made their scoring debuts for Chiltern Harriers in their respective races.

In the U15 Girls Annie finished 26th ensuring Chiltern held their bronze medal position in the League table. Likewise, in the U15 Boys Jerry was playing the same role as his 23rd place ensured Chiltern kept the runners place safe in their team challenge.
